Science Centres and Museums are fertile ground for the evolving, and increasingly vocational, field of Science Communication. Join this dynamic café-style discussion to explore:

  • how we engage students to spark them off
  • how the post-graduate educational landscape is shifting to cultivate new professionals
  • how we recruit and train new talent for volunteer roles and early career opportunities
  • how we design our talent pipelines to create professional development and growth opportunities in our organizations
  • how we work with external science communication partners in the broader field, every step of the way

Our team of presenters will offer brief introductions to these sub topics, representing their perspectives on community-based youth engagement, post-graduate training, youth volunteer development, staff recruitment and development and partnerships between Science Centres, Museums and external science communication practitioners.

  • comment nous impliquons les étudiants pour les stimuler ;
  • comment le paysage des études supérieures se modifie pour cultiver de nouveaux professionnels ;
  • comment nous recrutons et formons de nouveaux talents pour occuper des postes de bénévoles et des possibilités de carrière précoce ;
  • comment nous concevons nos bassins de gens talentueux pour créer des possibilités de développement professionnel et de croissance dans nos organisations ;
