Did you know that engaging with partners can open doors and create opportunities to expand your science centre experiences way beyond your walls and beyond your community.  Partners can increase your reach by hosting activities in other communities, they will share innovative ideas that come from a different perspective, they will connect you to organizations you didn’t even know existed, help you create true hubs and they might even be able to help you find funding to support your initiatives.  This session will provide concrete examples of partnership that have helped science centres expand their presence geographically, increase program offerings, provide financial support for specific initiatives connected to the partnership, opened doors that helped increase impact and that have provided a win-win situation for both parties and provide you with ideas on how to build successful partnerships for your organization.

Community Engagement and Outreach, Education (informal/formal) and Programming, Leadership, Science Communication
